My name is Rosa Silva I am the proprietor/manager of Childbestdays Ltd.

I have completed my first year at university (level 4 qualification in Early Years).

My passion for childcare started back in 1992 when I had my first child.

I started my career as a nursery assistant in Portugal, prior to becoming a registered childminder, in England, in 2007.

In December 2011, as a childminder, I was awarded Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted. At this time it was just me and my husband.

This achievement made me think about developing my business and offer my services to a wider number of children and their families.

I then registered as childcare on domestic premises and employed four more staff members.   

At our first inspection as Childbestdays, in December 2012, we were awarded Outstanding in all aspects by Ofsted.

This year I have re-registered with Ofsted, as Childbestdays Ltd and changed from self-employed to a Private Limited Company.

We are now seven staff members, six of which work directly and at all times with the children and one staff member is a cook/housekeeper.
